Does Steve Martin have a gambling problem? Is he paying for a secret family to go through college? Because, if he needs the money that badly, I want to help. I have no problem sending him all the extra money I have. I’ll even cancel HBO and Showtime. I don’t need to go Starbucks three times a a week. I’ll even steal internet from a neighbor. It’ll be slower, but it’s worth it. Because there is absolutely no reason Steve Martin should have to make Pink Panther 2. If he has some sort of money situation, he needs to just be honest with us. This is not the time to be proud. Business’ can give up a portion of their profits. We’ll sell wristbands. I’m sure people wouldn’t mind having their taxes raised if it means Steve Martin won’t have to make another movie like Pink Panther 2. Does Steve Martin have a bookie or loan officer we can talk to? Because I’m sure if we let them know that he made Pink Panther 2 to pay of those debts, he’d be let off the hook. Especially if they’ve ever seen Pink Panther 1. It’s just not worth it!

It’s terrible! There’s not even one joke! He obviously isn’t trying. Nobody that made “The Jerk”, or “Planes, Trains and Automobiles”, even “Parenthood” would make this movie. This is a desperate person, a person with serious problems. I’m not talking mid-life crisis problems. Sure, go ahead and write “Shopgirl” and play the main character in the film adaptation so you can bang Claire Danes and get it out of your system. Good for you! But for God sakes, if you are about to make a film like Pink Panther 2, stop Call a sponsor and go to a meeting. Step one is admitting there’s a problem Steve, and we’re here to help. Maybe it’s time for an intervention. And John Cleese is in this movie too! Come on, what is the deal? Don’t you people have a savings!! Twenty years ago this would have been a dream come true, but now it makes me sad. So very, very sad. So, just tell me where to send my paychecks so this can stop.
